Second year in our university continues with the implementation of the project CRIST(Curricula Reform In Space Technologies) in Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine. Year has started with the hard work which became objective extension of the past events. The first year the project started with the formation of initiative teams from students and teachers, introduction to the society the activities of the project, preparation of future facilities for teaching laboratories, familiarity of representatives of universities participating countries with a system of training and development of space technology in Germany, Belgium and Holland.

Year 2010 started for us with the receiving from the project partner - the Berlin Technical University, the curriculum specialization "Design microsatellites" purposely for application in the curriculum of our university. And in new curriculum areas for bachelors and masters "of aircraft engineering, rocket production" and "Avionics" embedded sections that were proposed and complemented with experience of the TU of Berlin.

According to the schedule for the project at the beginning of this year the computer class organization for the studying and application in subjects CAM-CAD-CAE design technologies was settled. In December - January we received for this project required computers and organized a new computer lab. And now our partners in the Belgian Institute Denayyer University Lessius Peter Arras and Dirk Van Miroud came to us with the project coordinator Mr. Arnold Shterenhartsom (Germany) and transferred the software. On the March 12 P. Arras and D. Miroud held workshop for students and staff in the newly created classroom. Workshop was attended by students and teachers of the faculty of aircraft and space systems, as well as guests from other institutions interested in the activity and performance of our project - the National Aviation University, Space Research Institute and RNA, and our Ukrainian partners of the project from the Dnipropetrovsk National University named by O.Honchar and National Aerospace University "Kharkov Aviation University.

Guests from Germany and Belgium were welcomed by the Vice Rector for International Relations of the University corresponding member of NASU Prof. Sidorenko S.I, Prof., Dean of the Faculty of Aircraft and Space Systems Zbrutsky O.V.

Prof. Sidorenko acquainted guests with the history of our university, past and current achievements, particularly in the aerospace industry, material science, computer and information technologies that were demonstrated in the Scientific Park "Kyiv Polytechnic".

In the Department of Aircraft and Space Systems Dean Prof. Zbrutsky O.V. demonstrated the development of employees and students on micro, small manned and unmanned aircrafts, navigation systems, sensors for control systems. Mr. A. Shterenharts was interested by the activity of students in the educational and research projects connected with the aviation and aerospace technologies, participation of students in international student cooperation, and he supported the initiatives to spread the experience of students through international cooperation.

In the State Polytechnic Museum project partners with curiously inspected the exhibition, devoted to outstanding aerospace designers I. Sikorsky and S. Korolev.
