Visiting NTTU KPI. Project Coordination Meeting

 

Due to the working plan of the "CRIST" project, the representatives of European Universities Consortium: professor - Engineer Peter Arras, professor - engineer Dirk van Merode (De Nayer Institute Lessius University), Dr. engineer Arnold Shterenharts (ECM office) visited Ukraine between the 11th -18th of March 2010.

During the visit, pilot lectures, demonstrations and informational meetings were held in the new computer equipped classrooms, created according to the project plan at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", Dnipropetrovsk National University named after O.Honchar, National Aerospace University. named after Zhukovsky "Kharkiv Aviation Institute".

Classes were held by European teachers together with the teachers and students from the Ukrainian universities.

On the 12th of March in NTUU "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was a coordination meeting of the Project.

In addition to the general issues of project implementation, the preparation of the annual conference was discussed and accepted to be held this year in May (20th - 21th of May) by Baltic Technical University (St. - Petersburg, Russia), also the possibility of the development and publication of new educational materials on the subject was discussed. During the meeting also were raised the ideas about further cooperation, particularly in the preparation of new projects for Tempus, and joint participation in the project of creation a scientific-educational small satellite.
